Danielle Goldstein Adds Some “Carisma” to Starwyn Farms in Preparation for 2014 World Equestrian Games

Wellington, FL (October 8, 2013) – International showjumper Danielle Goldstein is excited to share the news that she has added another amazing equine partner to her string of show jumping horses in preparation for the 2014 World Equestrian Games where she will be riding for Israel. “I’ve had this horse on my radar for over two years now,” Goldstein explained. Goldstein’s new star is a 14-year-old bay Swedish Warmblood mare named Carisma, out of Cardento 933 by Maraton 600. Goldstein describes the mare as everything one would desire in a top tier showjumper. “Carisma epitomizes the type and style of horse I could ever want – bloody, scopey, careful and a real fighter,” she explains. “I could not be more excited and grateful to have her in my string.”

Since Goldstein is now qualified to ride for Israel at next summer’s 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy, her focus has increased with all her goals firmly set on riding under the Israeli flag. “If all goes to plan, I think our partnership is a great start for Team Israel,” she said about working with her new mount. “It will help get the word out there that Israel is ready and capable of real success on the international scene.” Goldstein continued, “I have high hopes for our partnership, but it’s just the beginning, so we are going to take things slowly and get to know each other.”

Goldstein explains that Carisma has been succesfully showing in 3*, 4* and 5* competitions. “She’s a seasoned horse, so she knows her job,” she said. “I just want to forge a positive and competitve relationship. I’d love to be ready to jump the Holiday and Horses World Cup qualifier in Wellington in December, but like I said, we are going to take things very slowly until we are comfortable!”

Now, with some more, “Carisma” at Starwyn, Goldstein said she is eager to get started on all the riding and training ahead. “I also want to thank the Israeli Equestrian Partners for helping me acquire this wonderful mount,” she added, “without their support, none of this would be possible, and we look forward to the upcoming season!”

In addition to her own riding and training goals, Goldstein founded the International Equestrian Education (IEE) series that debuted during the 2013 Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, FL.
