Danielle Goldstein Announces GPA Helmets as New Sponsor
Wellington, FL (April 8, 2014) – Danielle Goldstein of Starwyn Farms, LLC in Wellington, Florida is a part of a very select group of athletes underwritten by one of the most important equestrian safety wear designers in the world: GPA Helmets.
Goldstein, whose goal is to become the first woman to ride for Israel on an Olympic show jumping team, has been taking the international show jumping world by storm, most recently through her historic participation on the first-ever team representing Israel in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup at Wellington’s Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Florida.
Goldstein’s unique equestrian accomplishments have not gone unnoticed by GPA Helmets, which has only partnered with 20 international riders around the world since becoming the first riding helmet designed to meet both European (CE) and American (SEI) safety and performance standards.
“It’s a great fitting helmet. I’ve been using GPA since they first came on the market, and used my newest carbon one in the Nations Cup,” said Goldstein, whose endorsement will entail helmets, apparel and saddle pads.
GPA’s breakthrough safety design for riding helmets was created by noted 1960s racecar driver, Michel Finquel. Tired of losing friends to fatal racing accidnets, Finquel designed the first fire-resistant driving suits under the NAZA brand, and setting a precedent in high quality safety concepts. Years later, when Finquel’s own daughter started riding horses, he saw that she too needed top protection, and just as he had done for his racecar friends, he dedicated himself to the research and design of the safest-possible riding helmet: GPA. Now, with nearly 50 years experience in safety equipment, GPA has set the bar in guaranteeing their commitment to safety in sports.
